About the Free Chocolate...
Subscribers to our e-newsletter, The Chocolate Scoop, were offered free chocolate in our December 4 issue.
We have received email from people wondering if this offer is for real, and how they can order their free chocolate, since they were having trouble finding it on the Betsy Ann Chocolates website.
Yes, the chocolate really is free to the first 1000 respondants, and includes four good sized truffles. It will make a nice gift. All you pay is the shipping at $4.95. The offer is good only to addresses inside the US.
Our sponsor should probably have given better directions, but was constrained by space limitations. Here are more detailed instructions for how to order your free chocolate:
- Go to www.betsyann.com
- Click on "Paras Truffles", at the top left of their main page.
- Under "International Classics", click on the shopping bag to the right of where is says "20. (4IT) 4pcs, $7.50". A javascript alert will ask you to confirm, so click on "yes".
- Click on "Check Out" when you are done looking around their website.
- Fill out the Billing Information and click on "continue".
- In the text entry box where it says "type a gift message here", enter "VIRTUAL CHOCOLATE OFFER" and continue
- Enter your credit card information. This is just for $4.95 for the shipping - you can disregard the other charges shown.
- Select "submit order" and you're done!
