Welcome to the Chocolate Muse, the place on the web to read news, essays, short stories, opinions and the like about our favorite subject . . . Chocolate. This site is brought to you by the same chocoholics who bring you Virtual Chocolate. From Greek mythology, the Muses are the nine goddesses of arts and sciences and inspire those who excel at these pursuits. (see "muse chart" ). Daughters of Zeus, king of the gods, the Muses sang as a chorus for the other gods on Mount Olympus and attended Apollo, the god of poetry. Legend has it, the great ancient writers always called on one of the Muses before beginning to write. To the nine, we add our own Muse ~ Chocolatee, the goddess of Chocolate Prose and Poetry.
