It's a poor substitute for the real thing but of course I would eat it if there were no dark or milk chocolate available! It is just not the same = no dark rich color, substantial flavor, or satisfying antioxidants. But it tries hard! |

There is a difference between cocoa mass and cocoa butter. So to say there is no cocoa in white chocolate is incorrect; there is cocoa butter, but not cocoa mass. And to say that white chocolate is just cocoa butter and sugar is also incorrect; it may also contain milk powder and some form of flavouring such as vanilla. |

Personally,I like milk chocolate best but I have read numerous times that dark chocolate is better for your health. It is actually good for you. So, I coat fresh strawberries with dark chocolate and find that the combination is quite good! Dark chocolate has antioxidants that milk chocolate doesn't have. Anyway, that's what I've read. |

I just bought a box of Garoto chocolates to share with guests who I was entertaining yesterday. The box looked very inviting...foreign chocolates all wrapped in brightly colored, tempting foils and cellophane. The chocolates were HORRIBLE! Tasteless, crumbly...I was embarrassed to have presented these to my guests! They weren’t out of date...although they tasted extremely stale...absolutely disgusting. I don't know how these were made...just don't be fooled by the pretty foreign chocolate box. YUCK!!! |

I tried Haigh's chocolate the other day after a recommendation from a friend who knew I was a chocoholic. Haigh's chocolate is absolutely DISGUSTING. It is awful and tastes cheap and nasty. The best chocolates I have ever found in the WORLD are made by Belle Fleur. (Rozelle in Sydney). I truly have travelled the world with an open mind to try and find something that compares...Belle Fleur always wins hands down. I am open to any other suggestions...please email me and let me know if there's better. Oh, another to keep away from Kimberley's (Leichhardt-ish)...I am so surprised they have not been shut down by the health department. I did a chocolate course there and the hygiene is digusting (as well as their chocolates). I know I sound harsh...just my opinions. |

well u see in the history of nail clippers, elbows have played a major role. u see, in the time of the dinosaurs. snacks such as doritos tended to stay afloat. but these days when u get stuck, well just call caa. they're favorite grocery store, is sobeys, cuz they have the best instant pudding. dwarf rabbits live in your room, watching u at nite. anyways, u see, their is a high tendency of high school. Pizza hut now has a fire safety program, and when you dine in u can get five dollars off. oh,and white chocolate is my favorite, except it makes my phalanges hurt |

carob is a great sub for chocolate. It is from carob tree instead. It has a very similar tase to chocolate. It is healthier. |

For me, I really like white chocolate, but it's difficult to get the white chocolate experience: 1) Most things labeled "white chocolate" lack the key ingredient of cocoa butter (including brands we usually trust) 2) White chcolate is a subtle flavor and almost any other flavor will drown it out (and I'm considered a "super taster") 3) It takes a lot of white chocolate to get the same "hit" as a regular "bite size" chocolate (for me, 1/3 of a package of chips). |

White 'Chocolate'??? Talk about oxymorons!! Chocolate is BROWN or BLACK (Dark Chocolate) in color. If it's white, orange or any thing other than true chocolate it's NOT chocolate!!! Even if the last 'chocolate' candy bar in thee world was white 'chocolate' I would not eat it!!! |

For the ignorant: white chocolate can be called chocolate in europe. Composition of Dark chocolate: Cocoa butter, cocoa powder, sugar Composition of White chocolate: cocoa butter, sugar. So the only diference is the absence of cocoa powder that is why the colour is different. The rest is a question of vocabulary and more important of individual taste. |
