Virtual Chocolate - Chocolate Locator: Send The Real Thing

If you choose to offer discounts to Chocoholic Club members, your Chocolate Locator listing will take display priority over listings that do not offer discounts.

If the discount is substantial, it will take even higher priority, at our discretion. (About bribes: we accept chocolate, but if it isn't top quality it won't help your priority ranking.)

The top two display positions on the right of every screen are reserved only for chocolatiers offering discounts and chocolatiers advertising direct to our opt-in list of chocolate lovers (130,000 names as of 12/02).

Chocolatiers offering discounts to Chocoholic Club members will be listed in our electronic newsletter at no charge. This mention will normally take place the month after you list.

Here are ways you can offer a discount:
Across-the-board Percentage Discount
When the Chocoholic Club member identifies themself as such (with a name and number you can verify online), give them 5% or more off all their total orders before shipping. Expect many repeat orderers. If you need assistance with setting up an online order form that requests this information, contact us.

Internet Coupon
Display a page with an internet coupon, good for Chocoholic Club members only. The coupon can be printed and sent or handed to you upon placement of their order. This works well to introduce members to your chocolate. You may describe your discount or place the html for your coupon in the discount description field of the chocolatier locator form. The discount details will appear in their own window, 245 pixels wide.
